FINALLY I convinced my mom to let me get zebra print sheets. It's harder than you think. It's been a few weeks of mentioning them and being like 'OHYA THESE LOOK GOOD 8D I WANT *hugs zebra print pillows/blankets*' Before then she kept going 'Those are too crazy and obnoxious. Your roomate might hate them D< ' Weell, I might end up hating my roomate's blankets, but you won't see me complaining to her face about her taste.
But yes, for those of you wondering my mom has the absolute opposite style/taste of whatever I like. I like my stuff super contrast-y/bold/shiny/random/colorful. While my mom seems to like everything in the neutral/light/white category. IT DRIVES ME INSANE. Get some color and bold patterns lady >:U stop it with the all white and beige.
Ohhey. This day next month I'll be moving into the dorm. Kinda cool to think about, but at the same time I think how I'll miss having actual space. I can only get my own room in my second year of college. Ughh.
Already been getting the stuff I'll be needing for college. Ordering books, getting some luggage, bed stuff. And I've been buying some more clothes, because during high school I often wouldn't get anything because my parents would say something like you wear uniforms almost all the time, it's a waste of money getting you anything else. And most of the clothes I have now are either stuff my mom won't let me get rid of and I won't wear, or the reminants of my basically oversized hobo attire from a few years ago.
Yay for not expenisve clothes from target. 16$ hoodies

I loves my hoodies.
And pretty soon I'll be getting a cellphone. Finally. I've been having to use my mom's brick of a cellphone, that still has an antennea, a screen that's going slightly black, and peeling paint.
o: I'm so putting on a music ring. I should put something like "counting bodies like sheep" and see my family's reaction. Wow CAN YOU SAY AMUSEMENT? o:
Sometimes I do wish I was going to an art college though. The dorm rooms either get a studio space, or they let you paint and draw on the walls xB Of course I don't get that at all. And the art school's always had clubs of things I actually liked. The list for USC, well, I really didn't see anything I was interested in :/
But nyah, I know I couldn't ever afford art school. Especially not the rates at school of the art institute of chicago where I was accepted.
And I would probably die of freezingness in the winter there anyway or I'd end up losing some toes/fingers..I don't do temperatures in the twenties well, let alone temperatures in the NEGATIVES.
Also my brother's coming down here for I don't know how long. I hope he doesn't try to break my laptop.
The coffeemaker also decided to finally break down yesterday. That certain model has a history of just suddenly not starting, it's the second time we've gotten that type. Eventually it won't turn on when you plug it in. No actual reason or anything. So got a new one yesterday too. I cleaned it out like it said to, but it still gives the coffee a plastic taste Dx Then I put water through it at least 4 times, which slightly took the plastic taste out of the coffee. I wish I could have gotten the red coffee maker. x3
And it surprises me that they don't come in bright blue.
I love the small details in your work~
